Between Identity – Transmissions Red
(October 2021)

My fifth full-length album and the second in my cassette series titled: Transmissions, out now on Space in Sound Records.

This album is a return to my vintage synth studio with live drumming, captured through my London console from the 80’s. Side A is largely inspired by the politics of my country during the past four years. Side B became my goodbye to San Francisco.

Between Identity – Transmissions Blue
(December 2019)

My latest full-length album and the first in a new series of cassette releases titled: Transmissions, out now on Space in Sound Records.

The album features my first recordings after introducing a new synthesiser to my studio, a vintage Roland SH-101 made in 1983.

Each recording on the album started from a repetitive bassline from the SH-101, while additional layers were then built with my Roland Juno-60 (made in 1982) and JX-3P (made in 1983). Everything was captured through my Allen & Heath console also from the 80’s, so you begin to sense a theme…

Between Identity – The Wolves (November 2018)

My latest full length release, out now on Space in Sound Records.

This album is a departure from the workflow of my previous albums and also introduces new vintage equipment to my studio. This includes Roland SH-101 and Juno-60 synthesizers, a Roland MC-505 drum machine and an Alternate Mode DK10 drum pad, which allowed me to use drumsticks to perform many of the rhythm tracks. Everything was multi-tracked through a 1980’s Allen & Heath analog console.

This album consists of the first recordings I made with this new equipment in 2016. It represents the point in time where I was feeling out the new possibilities. With most of the equipment I used being made in the 1980s and 90s, I believe this album has a vintage sound, which gets me closer to the music from my past that has been so influential.

Between Identity – Redlands (December 2017)

My latest full length release, available now from Space in Sound Records.

Born from the same tape reels as my album Nocturnes, this album features my vintage Roland JX-3P recorded into my beloved AKAI GX-4000D 1/4″ Reel-Reel tape deck. Samples and field recordings were brought in to help tell a story. Lo-Fi Ambient.

Blu Mar Ten Remix Competition 2017

It’s an honor to have my remix get mentioned as one of Blu Mar Ten’s favorites among the 300+ submissions. The remix starts minimal on vintage synthesizers before slowly building into the beat driven climax. You can listen to the remix below.

I regularly spun Blu Mar Ten records as a Jungle / Drum & Bass DJ in the 90’s. I went on to play them on my FM radio show (Circuit Bent Radio) in Austin, TX., and now collect releases from their always quality record label BMTM. Big thanks to them and DJ Mag for putting on this remix competition. You can listen to their original track here
